About me
I am interested in pursuing theatrical design/production in college and minoring in film. Working on plays and musicals, I cultivated my talent for design. I am in my fourth year of Tech Theatre. Each year my interest in theatre increased as I learned new skills. In 2017, I competed in the UIL State Theatrical Design Contest and came out among the top 20 design artists in the State. In addition to theatre, I am also interested in film. Theatre has given me a better appreciation for filmmaking, specifically, cinematography. From both my theatre and film studies, I realized the importance of storytelling: ensure that you grab the audience’s attention and never let go. I wouldn't love live theatre if it weren't for my love for film first. Movies taught me that being fully immersed in an entertainment experience is the greatest feeling. Live theatre has let me execute it.
